Member Retired Gumby Posts: 936 | Alright, I'm trying to save a file to .GIF format... and when I do it smears the heck out of it and adds this white border to the right and bottom sides. I have it indexed and it looks fine in the editor... but when I open it up later it's all messed up. What the heck is going on? I've been at this for way too long and I'm ready to go nuts. ----- Keep your stick on the ice |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11522 | Never had such a problem. Have you actually chosen .gif format or are you just using that file extension (and in fact another format)? I recommend you set the save dialog to decide about the file type by file extension. If that's not it and the image doesn't contain any transparacy, try .png format instead (uncheck all the options in the upcoming dialog). Oh, and... to how many colours have you indexed it? 256?
