Hi Guys,

I am a new member here and I also have great experience with the PC games as well, but since I was born around 70's maybe I am the youngest member in this forum. My first experience with PC games was Wing Commander Series, back then playing this game was a blast for me with great storyline and game play as well. I played it on my brother PC and as far as I remember it was PC 386 DX 66 Mhz and playing the game at the correct speed (not too fast as when I try to played it again with modern PC now it was extremely fast).

Too bad I have tried to slow it down with MoSlo basic but somehow in some parts still too fast and can not be played properly (like in gameplay, intro) Maybe my setting in MoSlo was not correct and I tried to find more detail information through google search engine but I cannot find it :(

Well, while it's the Good Old Days, I think there are still enough members on this board who were born around the same time if not later (like the 80ies or even early 90ies) ;)

Try DOSBox, a somewhat easy to handle and powerfull DOS emulator instead.

Greetings, new member here. I hail from Wisconsin.

I'm really happy to have discovered this site. I've wanted to collect and preserve floppy images for beloved DOS software for a long time. All the abandonware sites I find just have the already-installed files in a ZIP and it's been frustrating searching for actual disk images online and never finding them.

I actually discovered this site by googling the SHA1 for a disk that I just imaged myself. ;)

I can't say I really want the days of hand-editing the config.sys back, but welcome anyway ;)

Hey, folks... old UG member here. Looking around at the user base here, I see that I'm not the only one ;) I uploaded several Sierra and Apogee specials to UG back in the day, and I've continued to expand my registered shareware floppy collection since then. I've just uploaded a half dozen or so images I recently created from my originals, so hopefully there will be something new for you guys to peruse. I've still more images on my tweener PC that are awaiting the light of day that I'll eventually get up, and eventually, I've a few thousand game originals that will continue to get imaged and uploaded.

I usually use WinImage to make my non-protected images, as when there are no problems with the disk (and the disk is write-protected), there is no differences in the files that it produces verses the DOS tools. When WinImage has troubles, or I know that the disks have protections, I go to my tweener and use Teledisk, and occasionally to the 286 and use the DOB for a really pesky disk.

I know that IBM5150PC does the image verifications here, and I know from VCF that he's partial to teledisk and dd - if there's a guide/faq on how you guys want images submitted, I'd be glad to follow it as I move forward.

Hi everyone, I am new here. I grew up with an early-ish 286-12Mhz and am reliving my childhood through dosbox and PCem emulation.
